What Happens

How Minefy may use AI

Minefy may provide AI-assisted features to help professional users draft, summarize, analyze, structure, or coordinate planning information.

When a user requests AI assistance, Minefy may send relevant planning context, prompts, user instructions, workspace information, and related outputs to an AI service provider, including OpenAI, to generate the requested assistance.

AI-assisted features may be used, for example, to summarize planning information, draft schedule explanations, assist with task coordination, identify inconsistencies in planning context, explain changes or dependencies, and generate draft reports, notes, or planning suggestions.

Limits

AI outputs are not decisions

AI outputs are generated by automated systems and may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for the specific site context. AI-assisted features are intended to support professional users, not replace qualified human judgment, site knowledge, or required review.

AI-assisted features do not make operational, safety, engineering, geological, environmental, regulatory, or production decisions. AI outputs are not final instructions.

Qualified human users must review AI outputs before use. Customers and their authorized personnel remain responsible for operational decisions, safety decisions, engineering decisions, production decisions, regulatory compliance, mine planning assumptions, and validation of AI-assisted outputs before use.

Customers control whether and how AI-assisted features are used under their own internal policies.

Training

Customer workspace content and model training

Unless separately agreed in writing or explicitly enabled by the customer, Minefy does not opt in to allowing OpenAI to use customer workspace content to train or improve OpenAI models.

Unless separately agreed in writing, Minefy does not use customer workspace content to train third-party foundation models.

Provider retention and abuse-monitoring settings may depend on the applicable provider terms, service plan, API configuration, and product settings.
